Welcome to Nankun ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the website nankunart.com and the online store hosted thereon (the "Website"). These Terms of Service ("Terms" or "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the Website and any purchases made through it.

By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website or place an order.

Nankun is a trading name of NANKUN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, a company registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (the "Company").

2. About Our Products

Each Nankun pendant is a hand-painted miniature art piece, created individually by our resident artist using traditional Tibetan painting techniques and natural mineral pigments. Every piece is made to order — no two pendants are identical, and natural variations in pigment, brushwork, and metal finish are intrinsic to the nature of handcrafted art.

Product images on the Website are representative photographs. Because each pendant is individually hand-painted, the piece you receive may differ slightly from the images shown. We photograph your finished piece in high resolution and send it to you for approval before dispatch, as described in our Refund Policy.

3. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order through the Website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is only confirmed when we send you an order confirmation email.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your full name, shipping address, billing address, phone number, and email address. We are not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but the price in effect at the time your order is confirmed will be the price charged.

All prices include international import duties and taxes — we ship on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis to all destinations. No additional customs or duty fees will be charged on delivery.

We accept payments through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to process your payment in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. We do not store your full credit or debit card information on our servers. Stripe is responsible for the secure processing of your payment data in accordance with applicable payment card industry (PCI) standards.

5. Production and Shipping

Each pendant is hand-painted to order. Please allow 2–4 weeks for production before dispatch. This timeframe reflects the nature of handcrafted art and cannot be expedited.

Once your piece is completed and approved, orders ship via DHL or FedEx Express with full tracking and insurance. Typical transit time is 5–10 business days depending on destination. A tracking number will be emailed to you upon dispatch.

6. Returns and Refunds

Because each pendant is a made-to-order custom art piece, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind reasons once a piece has been approved and dispatched.

However, your purchase is fully protected:

  • Approval before dispatch: We photograph your finished piece and send it for your approval before it ships. Your order is only dispatched once you are satisfied.
  • Damaged, defective, or not as described: If your pendant arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or differs materially from the piece you approved, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund — including all shipping costs — at no charge to you.
  • Lost in transit: All orders are shipped with tracking and insurance. If your order is lost in transit, we will replace it or issue a full refund.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including but not limited to product designs, paintings, photographs, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, and software — is the property of NANKUN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or otherwise use any content from this Website for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent. Product images and designs may not be copied, imitated, or used to create derivative works.

The "Nankun" name and logo are trademarks of NANKUN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of their respective owners.

8. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, the Website by any third party.

The products sold on this Website are handcrafted art pieces. Natural variations in pigment, brushstroke, and metal finish are inherent characteristics of hand-painted work and do not constitute defects. We make every effort to display product colors and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device's display will reproduce colors exactly as intended.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NANKUN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or any product purchased from it.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

When you make a purchase, your payment information is processed by Stripe in accordance with the Stripe Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store your full card details.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
